Harvey was one of seven children of Mary Platt and Canfield Stone of Connecticut, and never lived in Pennsylvania.

Judson Stone is 2nd from right, owner of hotel at Stone Corners, north of Forest Lake. Son-in-law Charles Wells establishment is at the right side of hotel. This Judson (1823-1887) is nephew of Judson Stone of Stone Street.
